Freshwater fish farming is a community-driven economic activity that heavily depends on land conditions. Assessing land-carrying capacity for freshwater fish farming requires an in-depth analysis of various regional characteristics, including soil texture, soil type, slope gradient, rainfall, hydrological conditions, and land use. The research data were obtained through field surveys for primary data and thematic maps for secondary data. The methodology employed scoring and overlay techniques to determine land suitability levels for freshwater fish farming. The research findings indicate that the land carrying capacity for freshwater fish farming in the Kertanegara Subdistrict analyzed using Geographic Information System (GIS) based on parameters such as soil texture, soil type, slope gradient, rainfall, hydrological conditions, and land use, shows that Kasih Village has a high land carrying capacity with a score of 91.6. Meanwhile, Adiarsa, Karangpucung, and Mergasana Villages are categorized as having moderate carrying capacity, with respective scores of 90, 90, and 88.3. The overall land carrying capacity for fish farming is classified as moderate, primarily due to the high annual rainfall (2,500 mm/year), which received a carrying capacity criterion score of 80.
