Abstract

The concept of the material "How to Get Electrical Energy" is difficult for students to understand. Textbooks usually contain theories that need to be memorized and are presented in a complex way that is difficult to understand. The teaching method that is widely used by teachers is lecture. The use of miniatures as a learning medium will give students the opportunity to carry out experiments and gain direct experience. The aim of this research is to explain the stages of making Miniature Media for PLTM Kakkan, test the level of feasibility and analyse the level of effectiveness. The research conducted in this study is included in the Research and Development (RnD) category with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques in this research include qualitative and quantitative approaches. The technique applied is Posttest-Only Control Design. There were two groups, namely SD Negeri 3 Plumbungan as the experimental class and SD Negeri 3 Karekan as the control class. The Karekan PLTM Miniature Media is declared feasible to be implemented in learning to strengthen elementary school students' understanding to the concept of electrical energy based on validation tests from technician experts, material experts and practitioners. This media is also stated to be effective and efficient in its use because it can provide a real picture of a concept that is difficult for students to understand, related to "How to Get Electrical Energy".
