Abstract

As a Muslim, you should make the Qu'ran the basis of reference in all aspects
of life, including education. In the Qu'ran itself there are many verses related to
the world of education. One of them is Luqman's letter verses 12-19. This study
aims to determine the educational values contained in Surah Luqman verses 12-19
according to Al-Munir's interpretation.
This research is a qualitative research with the type of library research. The
primary data source in this study is the book of Al-Munir Fi Al-Aqidati Wa Al-Syariati
Wa Al-Manhaj by Prof. Dr. Wahbah Az-Zuhaili. As well as secondary ·
data sources in the form of books, journals, articles and other information that can
support and complement the research "Educational Values Contained in Surah
Luqman Verses 12-19 According to Tafsir Al-Munir". Data analysis used by
researchers is content analysis, namely research tool used to infer words or
concepts that occur in a text or in a series of texts. Then with inductive analysis,
drawing a conc1usion or conclusion from a concrete situation to abstract things, or
from a specific understanding to a general understanding.
As for the values of Islamic education contained in Surah Luqman verses 12-
19, namely the value of aqidah education which contains points prohibiting shirk
and believing in the existence of a day of recompense for every deed. Worship
education values that contain points in the form of prayer orders and Amar ma'ruf
nahi mungkar accompanied by orders to be patient. Moral education values that
obtain points in the form of orders to be filial to both parents, orders to be
grateful and commands to behave politely.
