Abstract

Javanese, which used to be a noble language, has become less and less used over time. Currently, the majority of young people on the island of Java, from those still at school or college age, do not master Javanese. This is caused by the influx of various foreign cultures through various means such as television and other media such as the internet. This is also influenced by the number of hours of Javanese language lessons in the education unit. At SDN 1 Sigeblog, Banjarmangu District, Banjarnegara Regency, the number of hours for learning Javanese is only 2 x 35 minutes a week. In addition, there are still many teachers and students who do not understand the use of polite Javanese, so that often in everyday life when communicating they use the crudest level of Javanese, namely ngoko. This of course has a big influence on students' interest and learning outcomes in Javanese.
