Abstract

Project scheduling is the allocation of available time to carry out each job in order to complete a project to achieve optimal result by considering exsisting limitations. Proper scheduling allows project managers to organize resources efficientyly, identify project critical path, and avoid unwanted delays. In its implementation, the Mitra 10 Purwokerto Development project experienced delays from the initial contract which caused cost and time losses. The cause is due to the factor of late arrival of materials and delayed work, therefore the author considers that there needs to be a truly optimal scheduling to overcome this problem. Precedence Diagram Method is one of the project scheduling methods, after analyzing this method, the research result on the Mitra 10 Purwokerto Development project resulted in a duration of 259 days, the Critichal Path Method using realization data resulted in 308 days and the S-Curve planned 274 days. Based on the research conducted, the Precedence Diagram Method is the fastest to complete the Mitra 10 Purwokerto Development project, because the duration of the work is faster than the estimated Critichal Path Method and S-Curve planning.
