The Muslim generation has an important role in determining the future, so moral education plays a crucial role in shaping noble morals. The story method from the history book of Muhammad Al-Fatih can be used as an effective means to instill moral education values. This writing aims to explore the values of moral education to oneself in the book Muhammad Al-Fatih 1453 by Felix Y Siauw and analyze its relevance to the character building of the Muslim generation.
This research uses library research with a qualitative approach. Data collection is done through documentation techniques, the analysis method used in the research uses content analysis techniques.
The results show that the book Muhammad Al-Fatih 1453 by Felix Y Siauw contains 6 values of moral education to oneself such as trustworthiness, shaja'ah, honesty, tawadhu', patience, and forgiveness. These values are very relevant in the formation of Muslim generation characters such as religious, honest, national spirit, hard work and peace-loving. Thus, this book makes a significant contribution to the development of moral education and the character of the Muslim generation.
