Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of management in improving
student achievement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMP IT
Harapan Bunda Purwokerto. The background of this study is the importance of the
role of school management in creating a conducive learning environment and
supporting the improvement of student achievement, especially in PAI subjects
which have an important role in the formation of student character and morals. The
purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of management in
schools can affect the improvement of student achievement in PAI subjects.
This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were
collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The
subjects of the study included the principal, PAI teachers, and students of SMP IT
Harapan Bunda Purwokerto. The collected data were analyzed descriptively using
content analysis techniques to obtain a clear picture of the implementation of
management in schools.
The results of the study indicate that the implementation of management at
SMP IT Harapan Bunda Purwokerto, which includes planning, organizing,
implementing, and supervising, has been running well and effectively. This is
evidenced by the increase in student achievement in PAI subjects. In addition, the
active involvement of teachers in the learning process and the support of adequate
learning facilities also support the achievement of optimal results. Thus, the
implementation of good management in schools plays an important role in
improving student achievement, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects.
