Deviant behavior or bad behavior of adolescents in high schools has raised
widespread concerns because the negative impacts caused by such behavior can
have a negative impact on individuals, families, and society. The purpose of this
study was to examine the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in
overcoming student delinquency behavior at SMA 1 Muhammadiyah
Banjarnegara. To find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors that cause
delinquency.
This research is a type of field research with interview, observation, and
documentation data collection techniques. Data analysis uses primary data from
interview results, where the collected data will be analyzed qualitatively using a
descriptive method, namely describing the description of the data obtained and
relating them to each other to obtain a general conclusion.
The results of the study show. First the efforts of Islamic Religious
Education teachers in overcoming student delinquency through preventive
measures such as habituation of Islamic activities, socialization activities about
student delinquency and approaching students. While curative measures include
giving warning letters if they violate the rules and giving educational
punishments. Second supporting factors in overcoming student delinquency
include adequate facilities, cooperation between Islamic Religious Education
teachers and general subject teachers and support from parents of students. While,
inhibiting factors include the less than good attitudes of some teachers and
students' social interactions outside of school.
