This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the tofu agroindustry in
Gandasuli Village, Bobotsari District, Purbalingga Regency. The research
evaluates various aspects affecting business success, including production
constraints, price risks, and operational costs. The main raw material for
tofu production, soybeans, often experiences unstable price fluctuations,
which in turn impacts total production and craftsmen's income. To address
this issue, craftsmen reduce the amount of soybeans used in order to
maintain production with consistent quality.
Risk analysis for production and pricing shows low risk, indicating
that it does not cause significant losses for the craftsmen. The feasibility
analysis results indicate that the tofu agroindustry in Gandasuli Village is
viable and has potential for further development. The B/C ratio of 0.97
and R/C ratio of 1.97 demonstrate that this business is profitable, with the
Break-Even Point (BEP) achieved being above the average production
and selling price. Therefore, the tofu business in Gandasuli Village is not
only sustainable but also has the potential for further expansion.
