Abstract

In the era we live in today, there are many words or actions that deviate from
the truth. Violating religious norms is considered a correct action when someone does
it. Therefore, Islamic education which consists of various components is needed to
direct the nation’s future generations to remain un the teachings of the Islamic religion.
The aim of this research is to determine the components of Islamic education contained
in Ali Imran’s letter verses 35-37 based on the interpretation of Sayyid Quthb and
Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.
This research is library research with data collection techniques using
documentation studies. Data analysis uses deductive techniques, where a technique will
draw a conclusion from general to specific with steps using data reduction, data
presentation, and conclucions.
This research shows that there are five of Islamic education components in Ali
Imran’s letter verses 35-37. The components of Islamic education are the objectives of
Islamic education, the subject of Islamic education, the environment of Islamic
education, Islamic education materials, and evaluation of Islamic education. Islamic
education in Ali Imran’s letter verses 35-37 aims to become a servant of Allah Ta’ala
who always worships Him. There are three subjects of Islamic education in these
verses, namely Allah Ta’ala, Prophet Zakaria, and Imran’s wife. Then, there are two
environments for Islamic education, including the environments within the family and
outside the family. Religious teachings are used as Islamic educational material in this
education. And in evaluating education using direct questions and answers between
educators and students.
