Abstract
Transportation is the movement of goods and people from one place to another using modes. The more activities there are, the more incidents that cause traffic jams or accidents. The number of traffic accidents in Banjarnegara Regency in 2019 based on data collected at the Banjarnegara Police Traffic Unit reached 490 cases. The research was carried out on the Klampok to Banjarnegara road section which was divided into 26 segments. The method used to determine the number of accidents is the EAN (Equivalent Accident Number) approach and analyzing accident-prone areas using the BKA (Upper Control Limit) and UCL (Upper Control Limit) methods. The results of this research showed that the highest accident factor occurred due to human factors with 332 accident cases. At the time the incident occurred on weekdays (Monday-Friday) with 280 accident cases and based on the time of day it occurred in the morning with 138 accident cases due to the density of activity. In the results of calculations using the Upper Control Limit Method (BKA) and the Upper Control Limit (UCL) method, the Blackspot point is in segment 5 (road along Panggisari village with a length of 1.5 kilometers) with an EAN value of 335 which exceeds the BKA value of 138 and UCL is 141.
