Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal dosage of goat manure that most effectively enhances the growth and yield of sweet corn (Zea mays L. Saccharata). The research used an experimental method with a Randomized Block Design (RBD). The treatment consisted of two factors: the dosage of goat manure (P) with three levels and the dosage of the Dekamon growth regulator (Z) with three levels. The combination of these factors resulted in 9 treatments, each replicated 3 times, with each experimental unit consisting of 3 raised bed plots. The research process involved the preparation of the growing media, seed preparation, planting, fertilization, maintenance, and harvesting. The variables measured included plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), ear length (cm), ear weight with husk (g), ear weight without husk (g), and sweetness test (brix). The data were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. The interaction between goat manure and Dekamon growth regulator had no significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, ear length, ear weight with husk, ear weight without husk, and the sweetness level of sweet corn
