This research aims to explain the black woman's struggle against discrimination in Doja Cat's music video. Revealing the representation of black women's struggle against discrimination in the music video "Paint The Town Red" by Doja Cat. This thesis explores how popular culture, particularly music videos, reflects and shapes people's perceptions of race, gender and power dynamics. This research uses a qualitative method because it aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the representation of black women's struggles against discrimination in Doja Cat's music video "Paint The Town Red. The research integrates theoretical frameworks from scholars such as Bell Hooks and Roland Barthes and is supported by Cinematography. From the analysis, this study found that Doja's actions in the music video are forms of struggle against discrimination that is often experienced by Black women. This struggle is illustrated through the symbolic use of imagery and lyrics that highlight issues of racial inequality.
