This classroom action research aims to improve fine motor skills in children through cutting activities using various media based on shapes or patterns (straight, curved, circular) in Group A of Al Amanah playgroup. The research subjects are 10 children in Class A at Al Amanah playgroup, Cibuyur Warungpring, Pemalang, in the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024. The results of the research indicate that cutting activities can enhance fine motor skills. This improvement is evident from the increase in the percentage of students, which initially was only 20% (2 children), with fine motor skills in the developing as expected category (DE) to 60% (six children) reaching the developing as expected category (DE) and 20% two children) performing very well (VW). The research findings indicate that cutting activities can improve fine motor skills in children.
