Abstract

Educators involved in early childhood education are required to create enjoyable and creative learning experiences. However, many educators still rely on conventional teaching methods for early childhood education. Traditional teaching methods are often inadequate in capturing children's focus on the material being taught, as young children tend to prefer visual stimuli. Developing Learning Media with 3D Hologram Animation is an alternative that emphasizes visual effects and creativity. The aim is to assist teachers in creating a vibrant learning environment that motivates students to engage more actively in their lessons. The objective of Developing Learning Media with 3D Hologram Animation was to assist teachers in creating a colorful and engaging learning space that enhances student enthusiasm for learning. This study focused on the Science subject, Theme 3: Objects Around Us, for 3rd-grade elementary students. The learning material developed included an application featuring menus for learning material, 3D hologram animation videos, quizzes, and information. The 3D hologram videos in the application were displayed using a hologram box screen with an added magnifying glass to enhance the 3D animation display. This research utilized the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method, which consisted of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The study employed both alpha and beta testing for evaluation. Based on beta testing conducted using a Likert scale, this learning media received a score of 87.25%, indicating that it was excellent.
