Abstract
In the modern era, cars have become an essential mode of land
transportation. Many people are eager to purchase this form of transportation.
Among the numerous car models available today, Honda cars stand out. Honda is
one of the largest automotive companies in the world. It originated in Japan and
has a significant presence globally, including in Indonesia. A Decision Support
System (DSS) can aid users in selecting a car. The methodology employed in this
research combines the AHP and MAUT methods, utilizing five (5) criteria and five
(5) alternatives as the sample for this study. For system implementation, the
Waterfall method is used for computational development. The AHP method
determines weight values, while the MAUT method determines alternative values
and the final ranking results. This study employs quantitative and qualitative
research methods, known as mixed-method research. Data collection involves
gathering criteria through interviews with experts, which are then incorporated
into the computational implementation of the methods, yielding numerical results.
The outcome of this research is a ranking based on the final values from the
combination of the two methods implemented into a website. The New Mobilio car
model, with the alternative code A1, emerged as the best alternative with a final
score of 0.674.
