This study in motivated by the goal of fostering positive interaction environments and providing
balance in daily relationships. Personality is highhly engaging to study in everyday life as it
involves the ability to understand others better by being open to listening to and empathizing
with their perspectives. Th objective of this reseach is to describe to personality structure og the
main character in Tere Liyae’s novel “Si Anak Savana” and to identify the using literary
psychology appoach based on Sigmund Freud’s theory of personality stucture, which includes
the id, ego, dan superego. The data consist of words, actions, dan quotations related to the
personality structure of main character, Ahmad Wanga, as well as the factors influencing him.
The data were sourced from Tere Liye’s novel “Si Anak Savana” . Data collection techniques
included reading, coding, adding information, ada verifying data accuracy. Data analysis
involved collecting data, cateforizing data, analyzing the novel, interpreting the data, and
drawing conclusions relevant to the study of personality. The result of this study indicate that the
personality structure of the main character. Ahmad Wanga, is divided into the id, ego, dan
superego elements. The id personality structure is characterized by stubbornness, leadership
qualities, self-condidence, joy, considerations, social considenrations, and curiosity. The ego
personality structure is marked by restlessness, boreown, despair, moral considerations,
religiosity, respectfulness, and adherence to social rules. The factors influencing the main
character include genetic factors, family, culture, religion, and education.
