Abstract

The aim of this research is to test and analyze the influence of compensation
variables, work motivation, work discipline and work environment on job satisfaction. This
type of research uses quantitative research. The population in this study were employees
of the Banyumas Regency Public Works Department with a population of 129 employees.
Sampling in this study used saturated samples which were distributed to employees in each
unit proportionally. Data analysis techniques used include measurement model testing,
structural model testing, and bootstrapping hypothesis testing. The research results show
that compensation has a positive and insignificant effect on job satisfaction, work
motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, work discipline has a
negative and insignificant effect on job satisfaction, and the work environment has a
negative and insignificant effect on job satisfaction.
