Abstract

This research aimed to improve children’s fine motor skills through Cutting, Twisting, and Sticking activities in class A (Second Year students) at TK (Kindegarten) Aisyiyah Mandirancan. This Research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted over two cycles. Cycle I consisted of three meetings, while Cycle II Consisted of two meetings. The Research subjects were 15 students, comprising seven boys and eight girls. The data collections methods include observation, interviews, documentation. Qualitative descriptive analysis was employed to analyze the data. The findings indicate a significant increase in the fine motor skills. This is evident from the observation data, which shows improvement in each cycle. At the pre-intervention stage, 13% (2 Students) met the Developing very well criteria. In Cycle I, the percentage of students achieving the Developing Verry Well criteria increased by 27% to 40% (6 students). In Cycle II, the percentage of students achieving the same criteria increased by 37% to 80% (12 students). The learning intervention is considered successful as 12 students (80%) out of 15 students of the kindergarten have achieved the predetermined success indicators.
