Abstract

This research aimed to isolate and identify tolerant bacterium towards the
fungicide Tillo and insecticide regent and to find out their ability to degrade the
pesticide. The isolation was done by dilution up to 10-7 continued to pure plate on
medium nutrient in order to get 1% fungicide Tillo and 1% insecticide Regent.
The obtained pure isolates were identified based on the observation of colonial
macroscopic, microscopic cells, and bio chemical test. The isolates bacterium was
identified by using the book of Bergey‟s Manual Determinative of Bacteriology
(Holt et al., 1994), and supported articles of Lestari et al., (2016), Patasik dan
Lantang (2009), Felitra et al., (2004), Setiyaningrum (2011), Wiluyandari (2013),
Bintari (2015), Azizah (2016), Marista (2013), Maulida (2010) Fatuni (2014) and
Yulvizar (2013). The identification results show there are 12 bacterium genuses,
Morganella, Klebsiella, Aeromicrobium, Xenorhabdus, Plesiomonas,
Lactobacillus, Citrobacter, Erwinia, Micrococcus, Ampibacilus, Hafnia, and
Vibrio. The findings of this research show that there are six tolerant bacterium
genuses toward the fungicide tillo which are Morganella, Klebsiella,
Aeromicrobium, Xenorhabdus, Plesiomonas and Lactobacillus, and there are
seven tolerant bacterium genuses toward the insecticide regent which are
Klebsiella, Citrobacter, Erwinia, Micrococcus, Ampibacilus, Hafnia, and Vibrio.
Bacterium challenge test was done to fungicide Tillo and insecticide Regent with
2.5%, 5%, and 10% concentrate for each. The formed data of isolates and clear
zone were then qualitatively and descriptively analyzed. Two bacterium genuses
are able to degrade insecticide regent which are Klebsiella in 2.5% concentrate
and Erwinia in 5% concentrate. All the tolerant bacterium toward fungicide Tillo
are not able to degrade (forming clear zone) from fungicide Tillo.
