Abstract
Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Purbalingga KCP Sudirman is one of the
sharia banks in Purbalingga. This bank provides various sharia financial products
and services for the local community. Even though BSI has been working for a
long time, there is an influence on customer perceptions of interest in using the
products and services of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Purbalingga KCP
Sudirman. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the relationship
between people's interest in utilizing Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Purbalingga
KCP Sudirman products and their perceptions of sharia banks.
This research uses qualitative descriptive field research, namely by
interviewing a number of customers or respondents who already have savings at
Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Purbalingga KCP Sudirman. This type of research,
called qualitative research, aims to understand a phenomenon in depth, its
complexity and its context.
This research shows that the perception of having an influence on
customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Purbalingga KCP Sudirman has two
influences, namely direct positive influence and indirect positive influence. There
are 40% of the 20 customers who are included in the direct positive influence,
while the indirect positive influence is 60% of the 20 customers. This gives rise to
various factors that influence perceptions, including religious factors, educational
factors, location factors, promotional factors and trust factors. Of these factors, the
most prominent factors from 20 customers are included in the religious factor of
90% of 20 customers and factors 85% trust from 20 customers. This raises
customer interest in using products at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Purbalingga
KCP Sudirman, the most popular product is the Esy Wadiah savings product,
amounting to 65% of 20 customers. After the Esy Wadiah product, there is a gold
installment product of 20% for 20 customers.
