Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the board of commissioners, board
of directors and capital adequacy on financial performance. The board of
commissioners is measured by the number of members of the board of
commissioners, the board of directors is measured by the number of members of
the board of directors, capital adequacy is measured by the Capital Adequacy Ratio
(CAR), while financial performance is measured using Return on Assets (ROA).
This type of research is quantitative research. The sample in this research was
obtained using a purposive sampling method. Based on the purposive sampling
method, 15 sharia commercial banking companies registered with the Financial
Services Authority (OJK) were obtained during 2017 - 2020, resulting in 82 pieces
of data. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis using
SPSS version 23. The results of this research show that the board of commissioners
and board of directors do not have a positive effect on financial performance and
capital adequacy has a positive effect on financial performance.
