This research was conducted at Nira Kamukten Cooperative in Gumelem Wetan Village,
Susukan district, Banjarnegara Regency. The objectives of this study were: 1) To understand
the profile of Nira Kamukten Cooperative and its members. 2) To identify various
productive activities undertaken by the cooperative in empowering palm sugar farmers. 3)
To ascertain the role of Nira Kamukten Cooperative in empowering palm sugar farmers. The
method employed was descriptive case study. Both primary and secondary data were
utilized in the research. Sample selection was carried out through simple random sampling
using the Slovin formula, resulting in the selection of 34 samples. The research findings
revealed that Nira Kamukten Cooperative was established in 2012, with Susanto serving as
the first chairman and a current membership of 140 active members. The cooperative's
activities include savings and loans, training, counseling, and provision of assistance. The
role of Nira Kamukten Cooperative in empowering ant sugar farmers indicated an average
total score of 315, categorized as sufficiently influential in facilitating member
empowerment as a capital facilitator, marketing facilitator, and motivator.
