The rapid development of transportation will indirectly increase the risk of growing
traffic problems. The increasing population is directly proportional to the need for
transportation and this is one of the factors causing the high number of traffic
accidents. Accidents often occur along Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, which is
located in the center of Wanareja District, in fact, almost every month, a traffic
accident is predicted to occur on this road. The frequent occurrence of traffic
accidents is what underlies the aim of this research to look for road completeness
factors that influence the occurrence of traffic accidents and also look for the
highest traffic accident prone points (black spots) along the Jenderal Gatot Subroto
- Wanareja road. The method used is that researchers carry out observations in the
field by filling in a road completeness table form and analyzing accident data
obtained from the Mergo Traffic Traffic Unit using the Cusum Technique
(Cumulative Summary). The results of the analysis show that there are several road
completeness factors that influence the occurrence of traffic accidents, namely the
absence of warning signs (reduce speed), the lack of intersection signs or no signal
signs, the lack of traffic signs when crossing corners and the lack of public road
lighting. Then the highest traffic accident prone point (black spot) along the
Jenderal Gatot Subroto - Wanareja road according to Cusum's calculations
(Cumulative Summary) is in Segment 4 (STA 3+100 - STA 4+100), namely 14
traffic accidents from year 2020 - 2022.
