Abstract
E-KTP is an important population document and a requirement to be able to
access other public services, but E-KTP services have often been felt to be not in
accordance with the expectations of the community because services that seem
convoluted, slow, and expensive are a form of discrepancy in population
administration services when associated with the General Principles of Good
Governance. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Electronic KTP
making services carried out by the Population and Civil Registration Office of
Purbalingga Regency by analyzing Constitution, General Principles of Good
Governance, and theories relevant to this research. This research method is
descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach, the purpose of this research is to
examine the effectiveness of services provided in making E-KTP by the
Population and Civil Registration Office of Purbalingga Regency. Based on the
results of the study, it shows that the services provided by the Population and
Civil Registration Office of Purbalingga Regency in making E-KTP still have
obstacles that hinder their implementation that are not in line with General
Principles of Good Governance, this is due to the lack of availability of blanks,
lack of facilities, and network constraints.
