This study aims to examine the effect of institutional ownership, managerial ownership,
and independent commissioners on financial performance. The population used in this
study are companies in the consumer goods industry sector, food and beverage
subsectors listed on the IDX for the 2019-2022 period. The sample selection method
uses purposive sampling technique with a total sample data of 128. The data analysis
techniques used in this study are descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests,
model feasibility tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
Partially, the results of this study indicate that institutional ownership and managerial
ownership have a positive effect on financial performance, independent commissioners
have a negative effect on financial performance, while company size, and sales growth
have no effect on financial performance.
