Abstract

In the world of education, lately there is a fact that is of concern, namely
the existence of students who have bad morals. Thus, educational institutions have
been deemed to have failed in fostering student morals due to the lack of guidance
on Islamic life applied in the school environment. So that educational institutions
are required to rethink the coaching that should be implemented in schools. The
purpose of this study was to find out the development of Islamic life on the morals
of class XI and XII students at SMK Muhammadiyah Sampang, to find out the
supporting factors and inhibiting factors for fostering Islamic life on the morals of
class XI and XII students at SMK Muhammadiyah Sampang
This research is a type of qualitative research with data collection
techniques of observation, interviews, documentation. The collected data were
analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing
conclusions.
The guidance of Islamic life that has been implemented at SMK
Muhammadiyah Sampang is divided into two aspects, namely academic and nonacademic
aspects. Among them by accustoming students to tadarus before the
learning process, praying before and after learning, giving greetings, praying
dhuhr in congregation, as well as having organizational and extracurricular
activities at school. The implementation of Islamic life coaching that has been
implemented at SMK Muhammadiyah Sampang, both in academic and nonacademic
aspects, greatly influences student morals.
