The primary issue addressed in this research is the relevance or correlation between the moral values presented in the novel "Cerita Untuk Ayah" by Candra Aditya and Pancasila (The Five Principles) Student Profile as a supplementary material for Indonesian language literacy.
This study employs a descriptive analysis method utilizing reading and note-taking techniques. The reading technique involves repetitive examination of the text, followed by systematic note-taking based on the issues to be described. The data in this research consist of quotations containing moral values, sourced from the novel "Cerita Untuk Ayah" by Candra Aditya.
The findings obtained from the analysis are as follows: there are three manifestations of relevant moral values in the novel "Cerita Untuk Ayah" by Candra Aditya in relation to the Pancasila student profile. These are (1) Moral values concerning the relationship between humans and God, including sincerity towards God and submission to God. (2) Moral values related to the relationship between humans and themselves, encompassing perseverance in work, hard work, maintaining cleanliness, patience, resilience, and independence. (3) Moral values concerning the relationship between humans and others, involving gratitude, advice, filial piety, mutual assistance, and parental advice to children
