Abstract

Purbalingga Regency, which has a geographical proximity to mountainous areas, provides abundant sources of mountain spring water that are beneficial for livestock farming, fisheries, and the water industry. Many local communities use it for freshwater fish cultivation. One of the biggest problems faced by fish farmers today is climate change. With the existence of this problem, there is a need for a geographical information system (WebGIS) to map the regional conditions. The development method of this system involves several stages: preparation, data acquisition, data processing, and analysis. The parameters used include soil type, soil structure, soil texture, air temperature, soil color, and elevation above sea level. Black box testing method is employed for system testing. The result of this research is a Geographic Information System website capable of mapping the regional conditions in Purbalingga Regency.
