The Central Statistics Agency describes mining as an activity involving the
extraction of valuable and economically significant mineral deposits from the
Earth's crust, either mechanically or manually, on the Earth's surface, below the
Earth's surface, and under the Earth's crust. C Mineral is one of the types of
mining, and sandand river stones are among its mining products. This study aims
to determine the impact of C mineral mining in the Comal River watershed on the
reduction of agricultural land in Randudongkal District, Pemalang Regency.
The data collection method used a qualitative descriptive method. Primary
data included observations and interviews with officials from Randudongkal
District, local residents, and miners. The research sample was obtained using
total sampling. The results of the study indicate that C mineral mining activities in
the Comal River watershed have a negative impact on the reduction of
agricultural land in Randudongkal Subdistrict, amounting to5.02025 hectares.
