In the modern era like today, there have been many technological
developments that make human work easier. Innovation after innovation is starting
to arrive in making equipment designed in such a way as to make human work
easier, one of which is the development of the Internet of Things (IOT). Many people
are currently using IoT, especially in the technology sector as a remote control tool
connected via the internet network. SmartHome or Smart House is a type of IoT
that can control electronic devices at home remotely. Because of our habits or
humans who are careless when leaving the house with electronic devices still on,
such as fans, lights, magic jars, etc., it is feared that this could cause electrical
short circuits/short circuits which can cause fires, we need a system that can control
household appliances from a distance to avoid anything unwanted. Making this
system utilizes a WIFI network connected to a microcontroller and also an internet
network on the smartphone which is used as a connection to control the home device
using the Telegram application.
