Abstract

Natural resources must be guaranteed to be sustainable, including by maintaining
the river environment, river pollution occurs due to industrial waste and household
waste, environmental law enforcement against river pollution can be seen in Law
No. 18 of 2008 concerning Waste Management. Problems in the research This is
how the legal resolution of the flood case on the Cilopadang River in Padangjaya
Village is and what factors are the obstacles in resolving the flood case on the
Cilopadang River in Padangjaya Village. The research approach method is carried
out in a normative juridical manner through literature study and direct research on
the research object by means of The main legal material is looking for legal
principles and statutory regulations regarding this research which are researched.
The results of the research are the resolution of flooding cases due to rubbish in the
Cilopadang river. There is a lack of awareness for residents so that there is a lack
of awareness among citizens to dispose of rubbish in its place and there is no final
disposal site which makes residents have to throw it into the river.
