Almost all activities at SMK N 1 Pemalang utilize internet network
facilities. Both teaching and learning activities and administration, so that
all activities run smoothly, a good and reliable network connection is
needed. QoS is the ability of a network to provide data traffic services that
pass through it. The application of QoS (Quality of Service) is a solution
to existing network problems with testing parameters of throughput,
packet loss, delay, jitter. To find out the amount of QoS value on the SMK
N 1 Pemalang network, a QoS parameter analysis must be carried out.
Measurement of QoS parameters is done by accessing 2 urls that are often
accessed by teachers and students, the urls accessed are youtube.com and
smkn1pml.sch.id. The tools used to measure QoS parameters are
Wireshark and speedtest.net. The results obtained from the measurement
of QoS parameters on the SMK N 1 Pemalang network fall into the
excellent category based on TIPHON standardization.
