Abstract

Inhibiting factors in the construction project implementation process are defined as
things, conditions that can hinder, hold back and obstruct the construction
implementation process. The project control process is very important, but not
infrequently when the implementation does not go according to plan. Based on
experience, factors inhibiting project implementation must be taken into account
and considered carefully if a construction project is to be implemented. This
research aims to determine the factors inhibiting implementation that occurred in
the Suro Dam construction project and to find out how to overcome the factors
inhibiting implementation. The method used in this research is FTA(Fault Three
Analysis) Method and Bow Tie Analysis Method. Based on the results of the
analysis, the main obstacle to implementation using the FTA method is that the
production process is disrupted with a probability of 0.7629 and apart from that
there is a poor management system with a probability of 0.2359. The results of Bow
Tie's analysis of the obstacles to the implementation of the Suro Bendung project
with mitigation or prevention efforts, the main factor that is the main obstacle to
implementation, the first is late delivery of K3 equipment by giving the supplier
maximum time so that it is not late in delivery, the second is that the material is not
yet available on the local market. The countermeasure is to look for a trusted
supplier in another area with the same quality. The third factor is to overcome
muddy road access. The countermeasure is to look for alternative roads that are not
muddy or to clean muddy roads. The last is the factor that field equipment is
damaged. The countermeasure is to carry out routine equipment maintenance.
