This study aims to examine the effect of capital adequacy ratio, non-performing
finance, finance to deposit ratio, and inflation on profitability (ROA). The
population in this study are Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial
Services Authority for 2018-2022, namely 15 banks. The selection of the sample in
this study was carried out by purposive sampling. Based on the criteria, 14
companies were sampled. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple
regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the capital adequacy ratio
and non-performing finance have a significant negative effect, while the finance to
deposit ratio and inflation have no significant effect on return on assets.
