Information systems in an educational institution have a very important role.
Information systems can also be used as a requirement in improving services. In
addition, the information system determines the quality of a tertiary institution. The
appearance of the website greatly influences the user experience because a website
can be said to be user friendly when it meets criteria such as the right color scheme,
effective and responsive navigation menus. The purpose of this study was to describe
the level of user experience on the SIM MBKM UMP. The method used in this study is
the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. The type of research used is a type
of quantitative research. The data collection method used in this analysis is a
questionnaire. The results of the analysis on the UMP MBKM website show the results
of the attractiveness scale which obtained an average value of (1.01), the Perspicuity
scale obtained an average value of (1.01), then the Efficiency scale and the
Dependability scale obtained the highest average value with a value of (1.06), then the
Stimulation scale got the average score (0.60) and the Novelty scale got the lowest
average score (0.22). Based on the results of this study, the MBKM UMP SIM
developer needs to improve the user experience of the MBKM UMP website on a
novelty scale by redesigning the layout and checking the overall layout and design of
the website.
