This study was conducted to determine whether the implementation of the career day program aligns with the policies or not. The research objectives were to understand the policy of implementing the career day program the execution of the career day program, and the evaluation of its implementation. The research method employed was qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involved data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The result of this study revealed that the school principal established a policy for the implementation of the career day program to ensure structured and planned execution. The career day program was executed for students from grades I to V, starting from September 2022 to January 2023. The evaluation of the career day program’s implementation at SD Muhammadiyah 1 (Muhammadiyah Elementary School 1) showed change in students from grades I to V in accordance with the chosen theme. In conclusion, the school principal and teachers held meetings, developed the career day program, established an organizational structure, created a schedule for planning the implementation of the career day program, and integrated the program into the operational curriculum of the educational institution. The implementation dates for the career day program were September 26, 2022, for grade I; October 13, 2022, for grade II; November 25, 2022, for grade III; December 13, 2022, for grade IV; and January 19, 2023 for grade V. The evaluation of the career day program’s implementation revealed that grade I students became aware of the importance of obeying traffic rules; grade II students were able to compare different things; grade III students began to understand the role of midwives; grade IV students became wiser in using social media; and grade V students started to learn about SME programs.
