Abstract

The Academic Information System (SIA) has become an essential part of
data and information management in the educational environment. However, the
practical and enjoyable use of SIA for its users remains a primary concern in the
development of the system. This study aims to analyze the User Experience (UX)
in the Academic Information System (SIA) using the User Experience
Questionnaire (UEQ) method at SMA N 1 Purwokerto. The research involves
active SIA students at SMA N 1 Purwokerto as research subjects. The data were
collected through a survey using the UEQ questionnaire. The questionnaire asks
users for their opinions on aspects relevant to the user experience of using SIA.
Data analysis was conducted using UEQ Data Analysis Tools. The results of this
study found that the attractiveness aspect received a score of -0.09, perspicuity
0.00, efficiency 0.06, dependability -0.09, stimulation -0.22, and novelty 0.13.
Based on the results, all six aspects received poor scores. The study recommends
providing a more user-friendly and easily understandable website interface,
which could enhance the score in the attractiveness variable for userfriendly/
unfriendly statements. Additionally, it is suggested to offer website
services beneficial for students or teachers to increase the score in the simulation
variable for useful/not useful statements
