Abstract

In Indonesia, the obligation of halal certification is regulated in Law
Number 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Assurance. In the process of
applying for halal certification, one of the important document requirements is
the halal product assurance system hereinafter abbreviated as SJPH. The
implementation of the halal product assurance system aims to ensure the
halality of certified products in a sustainable manner. This study aims to find
out how the implementation of the halal product assurance system (SJPH) at
Mokue Bakery Purbalingga after halal certification and to determine the
supporting and inhibiting factors for Mokue Bakery in realizing SJPH.
This research uses a type of field research with a descriptive qualitative
approach. Data collection techniques in this study are in the form of interviews,
observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study
is an Inductive technique. This research focuses on existing data in the field and
the data becomes findings that can later answer the research problem.
The results of this study show that the implementation of the halal product
assurance system at Mokue Bakery Purbalingga after halal certification is quite
good in accordance with the 5 criteria contained in the Decree of the Head of
BPJPH Number 57 of 2021 although there are still several obstacles in its
implementation. Meanwhile, the supporting factors in realizing the halal
product assurance system at Mokue Bakery Purbalingga are fewer than the
inhibiting factors. One of the inhibiting factors is that there are materials that do
not renew their halal certificate. Even though there are more inhibiting factors,
Mokue Bakery still optimizes the company to realize a halal product assurance
system in accordance with applicable regulations.
