Abstract
Currently, technological advancements in the field of education are accelerating. This is undoubtedly desired in order to improve the lives and circumstances of the teaching and learning environment. One of several technical advances in learning fulfillment is the use of a Learning Management System or LMS. It is an option for digital or distance learning. Of after all, as a virtual learning environment, LMS has a multitude of issues to be considered in determining student learning progress. This research focuses on determining the issues of engagement, e-habits and students’ expectations on Language LMS in the context of English as Foreign Language and determine to what extent do i.e engagement, e-habits and expectation assist students’ learning achivement. The participants of the research were university students and teachers from three different universities in the field of English education department. The data were collected through survey questionnaire, interview and students’ document of GPA score. The research used mix method approach to place data quantitatively and qualitatively. Then, statistic descriptive was used to analyze the quantitative data, whereas inductive analysis was used to analyze qualitative data. According to the findings, both students' levels of engagement and e-habits were low, while students' expectations of LMS were high. ONCLASS, SCALSA, and Google Classroom are three different LMSs from three different universities. The students’ level of engagement, e-habits, and expectations have all had an impact on the students' learning progress. It can be seen in their GPA score achievement. The students' GPAs were average.
