Abstract

In building construction projects there are still many problems of inefficiency in the
implementation of the construction process. To overcome this, it is necessary to
improve planning with a lean construction approach, in which waste monitoring is
carried out. therefore the method used in this research is to use the value stream
mapping method which is one of the tools that exist in the concept of lean
construction. In this research, identification or monitoring of waste that has value
added and non-value added will be carried out in the Prof. Hospital Building
construction project. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokwerto. This research was
carried out at week 6 on foundation work. The source of the calculation of the
estimated implementation cost uses project realization volume data. The research
items in amatin are at the P2-C1 pilecap point and BP.101 borepile point. The
results of the analysis of monitoring waste calculations identified Value Added
Activity (VAA) of 81.89%, Non Value Added Activity Necessary (NVAAN) of
3.52%, and Non Value Added Activity Unnecessary (NVAAU) of 14.54%. For the
results of estimated implementation costs for borepile and pilecap foundation work
based on the realized volume of Rp. 52,384,433 and the results of the estimated cost
of implementation on the borepile and pilecap foundation work based on the
planned volume (BoQ) of Rp. 75,571,040. so, the difference from the results of the
estimated cost is Rp. 23,186,607.
