Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in the ability to memorize the Al-
Qur'an that occur in some students at the Tahfidz Baiti Jannati House. This study
aims to find out how the talaqqi method is used in the Al-Qur'an memorization
program for TPQ students at Tahfidz Baiti Jannati House, to find out how the level
of ability to memorize short Al-Qur'an letters for TPQ students at Tahfidz Baiti
Jannati House and to find out whether there is any the influence of the talaqqi
method on the ability to memorize short Al-Qur'an letters in TPQ students at the
Tahfidz Baiti Jannati House.
The method used in this study is a type of quantitative research with a
correlational approach. The subjects in this study were the students of TPQ Tahfidz
Baiti Jannati House. The object of this research is the effect of the talaqqi method
on the ability to memorize short Al-Qur'an letters of TPQ students Tahfidz Baiti
Jannati House. The population in this study amounted to 43 students so that the
sample in this study was taken as many as 43 students. Data collection techniques
using questionnaires (questionnaires), tests, and documentation.
Based on the data analysis carried out, it is known that the use of the talaqqi
method in the Al-Qur'an memorization program for students of TPQ Tahfidz House
Baiti jannati is 54.81 with the lowest score of 43 and the highest score of 60. It is
known that the level of ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an of students of TPQ Tahfidz
House Baiti Jannati is 29.07 with the lowest score of 23 and the highest score of
30. With the results obtained from the research instrument, a conclusion can be
drawn that there is no effect of the talaqqi method on the ability to memorize Al-
Qur`an short letters in TPQ Tahfidz House students Baiti Jannati. This is shown
from the results of the talaqqi method correlation test analysis showing a p value
(0.236) > α (0.05) so that Ho is accepted. And the results of the correlation test of
memorizing ability show a significance value (0.633) > α (0.05). So it can be
concluded that Ho is accepted.
