Abstract

Disciplinary attitudes and behaviors are indispensable and an important
aspect in educating and developing one's personality potential. Discipline is
something that must be familiarized, because discipline cannot just be embedded in
a person. Discipline can be instilled in many ways, one of the disciplines that is
important for us to instill in our lives as Muslims is discipline in worship, especially
prayer. Because in prayer one is required to be disciplined so that prayer can be
carried out properly and God willing, accepted by Allah S.W.T. The purpose of this
study is to describe and find out how the habituation of the discipline of prayer
worship of students at the Panti Asuhan Putra Muhammadiyah Ajibarang.
This research uses a type of field research and a qualitative approach. The
research subjects are caregivers, ustadz and santri. Data collection techniques
using observation, interviews and documentation. As for data analysis techniques
deductive and inductive with data collection stages, data rehabilitation, reduction,
data presentation and conclusion drawing.
The results of the research show that the habituation of the discipline of
prayer of students at the Panti Asuhan Putra Muhammadiyah Ajibarang there are
two types of habituation, namely habituation to fardhu prayers and sunnah prayers.
The form of prayer discipline applied is related to the accuracy of prayer time,
compliance with the pillars and conditions of prayer and the manners of prayer.
Efforts made in the process of habituation of the discipline of prayer at the Panti
Asuhan Putra Muhammadiyah Ajibarang are the existence of a reminder bell 10
minutes before the adhan is announced, the existence of worship lessons, the
holding of prayer practice exams once a semester, the application of rules both
written and unwritten rules, the direct supervision of caregivers, ustadz and
administrators of the Ikatan Santri Panti Asuhan Putra Muhammadiyah Ajibarang
(I.S.P.A.M.A) and the application of consequences for violating the rules of prayer
discipline that have been set.
