The rapid development of technology has an impact on people's activities in
Indonesia. Currently activities can be done online which can make it easier for
everyone. One activity that is currently happening is online gathering. But with
the ease of doing it online, there are many cases of online gathering. This study
aims to determine and analyze the legal force of the agreement on online arisan
and the responsibilities of the parties in the event of default on online arisan. The
research method used is normative juridical method. Collecting data in this study
is using the literature study method. The data sources used in this research are
primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials.
The results of this study are to find findings that provide an understanding of the
power of law in online gathering. One of the articles related to online arisan is
Article 1320 of the Civil Code concerning the legal requirements of an agreement.
