This research aims to describe the error analysis of affixation in the online
newspaper Radar Banyumas, September-October 2022 edition. This research is a
descriptive qualitative study. The data for this research consists of news articles from
the online edition of Radar Banyumas, September-October 2022. The primary data
source is the Radar Banyumas newspaper. The methods used in this research are the
distributional method, with data collection techniques involving observation and
notation. The data analysis stage uses the distributional method, and the presentation
of the analysis results starts by describing the affixation errors, analyzing the
collected data, and then presenting it using an informal presentation method. The
informal method involves the formulation by describing the obtained data, resulting in
a written report. The results of this study conclude that in the online newspaper Radar
Banyumas, several errors were found in affixation: the use of the prefix "me-" in 1
data instance, the omission of a sound transformation that should be there (3 data
instances), the omission of the prefix "men-" (3 data instances), the omission of the
prefix "mem-" (1 data instance), and the omission of the prefix "ber-" (2 data
instances). The most frequent affixation errors found were the omission of the prefix
"men-" and the wrong use of sound transformation, each with three data instances.
