Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital adequacy ratio, debt to equity
ratio, and operational cost to operational income on return on asset. The
population used in this research consists of sharia commersial bank listed on
financial service authory (OJK) from 2019 to 2022. The sample in this study
selected using purposive sampling. Data is taken using multiple linear
regression. The results of this study indicate that capital adequacy ratio has
positive effect on return on asset, operational cost to operational income have a
negative effect, whereas asset debt to equity ratio does not have a significant
effect on return on asset.
