Abstract

A teacher's performance includes all of their efforts to improve the learning
environments in their classrooms in order to meet the established educational
objectives. In the Akidah Akhlak subject at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Purbalingga,
the goal of this study was to ascertain whether or not teacher effectiveness had a
substantial impact on student learning results.
This study employs a sort of quantitative research using data gathering
methods including surveys and documentation. Students from SMP
Muhammadiyah 5 Purbalingga's eighth-grade class served as the study's subjects.
Data analysis was done using midterm exam results and surveys about instructor
performance, and the descriptive statistical analysis and analysis preparatory tests
were utilized to assess the data.
According to the findings of the data analysis, thitung (-2.180) > ttable (1.988)
is found, and this has a substantial impact on why Ho is rejected while Ha is
approved. While the significance level is (0.032) (0.05), it may be inferred that
teacher effectiveness affects how well students learn about moral ethics. According
to the examination of the R Square value, 5.2% of Muhammadiyah 5 Purbalingga
Middle School students' learning outcomes for the moral creed are impacted by
their teachers' performance, while 94.8% are influenced by other variables.
