Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the method of singing in instilling
Islamic religious values to increase the activity of children in PAUD TPQ Miftahul
Ulum, and to increase children's understanding of Islamic religious values from an
early age with the singing method.
The research method used is qualitative research. The research subjects are
teachers, students and administrators. In collecting data using the method of
observation, interviews, documentation, and data analysis.
The results obtained from this study are: 1) The application of the singing
method in instilling Islamic religious values is carried out in the classroom with
applause, and providing reinforcement by singing through the singing method
children can be enthusiastic and happy. 2) The singing method can improve children's
views from the child's attention to the material presented, then answering questions
and being brave enough to ask questions about something that makes him confused. 3)
Supporting factors, namely teachers who have high patience, a calm and beautiful
environment because they are in rural areas, the methods used are in accordance with
the world and child development, people who have awareness of the importance of
education for children. Inhibiting factors are differences in the nature and behavior of
students, facilities that are still standard, parental intervention in classroom learning.
