Abstract
Soybean is a leguminous plant that serves as a primary source of
protein, apart from meat. The study wasconducted in the Greenhouse
(experimental field 2)and the Applied Agrotechnology Laboratory of the
Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries at UMP. This study aims to determine
the effects of various types of manureon soybean growth and production,
the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) application that
enhances soybean growth and production, and the interaction between
different typesof manureand LOF application in enhancing soybean
growth and production. The study was a field experiment arranged using
the randomized block design with two treatment factors. The first factor
was K (manure), consisting of K1 (goat manure), K2 (cow manure), and
K3 (chicken manure). The second factor was P (anLOF called Pendawa
Subur), consisting of P0 (without LOF application), P1 (2 ml/lt), P2 (4
ml/lt), and P3 (6 ml/lt). The research results were analyzed using ANOVA
at a 5% significance level and subsequently tested with DMRT at a 5%
significance level, aided by STAR 2.01 software. The research findings
indicated that the application of 20 tons/ha of chicken manure enhanced
soybean growth and production across variables such as plant height, leaf
count, stem diameter, fresh plant weight, dry plant weight, root nodules,
pod count, filled pod count, pod weight per plant, 100-seed weight, and
productive branch count. In addition, Pendawa Subur LOF with a
concentration of 6 ml/l also successfully enhanced soybean growth and
production. The interaction of various types of manure and the level of
Pendawa Subur LOF increased plant height at 28, 49, 56, and 63 days
after planting (DAP), leaf counts at 14, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, and 63 DAP,
and stem diameter from 14 to 56 DAP. The harvest variables also
increased, including fresh plant weight, dry plant weight, root nodules,
pod count, filled pod count, pod weight per plant, 100-seed weight, and
branch count.
