Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the sharia supervisory board,
company size, capital adequacy, and leverage on the financial performance of
Islamic banking from 2019 to 2021. Financial performance is an illustration of the
achievement of a company's work results in one period. Financial performance
can be measured using ROA. The sampling technique used purposive sampling
technique, and obtained 50 samples with certain criteria. The analytical method
used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression. The results of this study
indicate that the sharia supervisory board and capital adequacy have no effect on
financial performance. Meanwhile, firm size has a positive effect on financial
performance, and leverage also has a negative effect on financial performance.
